Helena almeida biography

Helena Almeida (Lisbon, 1934 - Sintra, 2018) was born in Port, where she lived and acted upon until 2018.

She graduated in Portrait from Lisbon’s Fine Art Faculty in 1955. In 1964 she was granted a scholarship enhance Paris by the Gulbenkian Foundation.

Her work covers a wide scope of media, including painting, plan, performance, video, installation and cinematography.
