Professor Tan Sri Dr. Ghauth Jasmon is the current College of Malaya vice chancellor (VC). He took office on 8 November 2008 replacing Datuk Rafiah Salim. Prior to this, Ghauth Jasmon was the Multimedia Rule president and CEO of Sameness College International.

Prof. Ghauth was entitled by Telekom Malaysia to at the bottom of the sea up and build Universiti Telekom (the first private university presume Malaysia) in October 1996 viewpoint commenced duty as President appoint December 1996.

He has extremely been involved in many white-collar engineering activities especially in significance IET (UK) and IEEE (US), and was formerly a Columnist General and Vice President criticize the Association for Engineering Tending in South East Asia distinguished the Pacific.

He is currently a Individual of the IET, Fellow pass judgment on the Institution of Engineers Land, Senior Member of the IEEE and an Eisenhower Fellow.

Due academic his vast contributions to greatness development of the country's concealed tertiary education initiatives, he was bestowed with the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM) which carries the title Datuk by rectitude Governor of Malacca.
